Fasted cardio is one tool. Strength training is different.
I do not make fasted lifting my default. That is not because the science proves one fasted lift destroys progress. It does not. The direct evidence is limited, mixed, and not strong enough for that kind of claim. My position is simpler and more honest: strength training is a building signal, and in my own training and coaching I want that signal fed. If cardio and endurance are where I may use fasted work, the weight room is where I want protein, carbohydrate, fluid, and recovery lined up on purpose.
